I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

Christ in Christmas
“Want to keep Christ in Christmas? Feed the hungry, clothe
the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill, love
your enemies, and do unto others as you would have done unto you.”
Steve Maraboli, Unapologetically
You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience

the birth of Christ
was not about ideology
or theology
it was not about rituals
and all things Sacred
the birth of Christ involved little talk
it was all about
birth
it was about God taking action
and being born in a human body
being born in the midsts of
outcasts, losers
animals
and shit (it was a barn after all)
it still is
it is about us
birthing God
make God present in human flesh
allowing Sacred Presence (Spirit with a capital S)
to make its presence felt
as we feed the hungry,
clothe the naked,
forgive the guilty,
welcome the unwanted,
care for the ill,
and love our enemies,
Christmas is certainly not
for the
faint
of
heart
