Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Essential Wholeness

“We need never be hopeless because we can never be irreparably broken.”
― John Green, Looking for Alaska
______________________________________

You are broken
the preachers cry

we are wounded
says the wise man

however you think of it
we are identified as fragmented souls
no longer whole

and it is all too easy to concentrate
on the shards
of self that lay scattered along the road of life

and to believe that broken
is what we are
fundamentally

but broken presupposes a state of wholeness
and thus we must remember

that we come from Sacred
and return to Sacred
and we participate
in the
Divine

and we carry within us
an essential wholeness

and thus we can
never be
irreparably broken
