God is a Dreamer

I have to say this about God

God is a dreamer

God dreams of world marked by love not enmity

and of abundance not want

God dreams of inclusion not exclusion

and of acceptance, not rejection (or even mere tolerance)

God dreams of a world where fear does not win

And hate does not exist

God dreams of a place in space

where Sacred rules

the Kingdom of God

we are called to live the dream

as best we can

not alone

for God is with us

not alone

for there are others, yes there are others

So prepare the way of the Lord, my friends

make the paths straight,

and the Kingdom will come

and every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low,

and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth;

and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’” (Luke 3)
