I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

You are not your own
The sacred text is inviting you slowly, little by little,
into a very different sense of who you are: You are not your own. Your life is
not about you; you are about Life! You are gradually "pruned" as a
separate vine and re-grafted to the Great Vine of life and love and God. Once
you are consciously reconnected to the Source, your life will bear much fruit
for the world (John 15:1-5).

sometimes
I want to crawl inside my own skin
I don’t want to see
or feel
I want to be able to walk past that man on the sidewalk
and not worry
not feel sad
“Hey mister, you look like a politician! Who you going to vote for, yourself?
but the image
and the voice linger
as does the sadness
this is what happens
when one realizes there is no life
alone
we are connected
attached to the Sacred
grafted in
and thus attached too
to every other person
even that guy on the street in Vegas
