What is our script O God?
wise people
in ancient days
used to live with warrior slogans*
so too did Jesus
"love your neighbor"
"blessed are the poor"
the more we have chosen
and say
and practice our scripts
the more they become
us
the more they become
"our breath , our eyesight
our first thought"*
this day O Lord
may my slogan be
one that empowers
and opens
and makes me smile
and
love
