I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

The eyes of a child
“Nothing I say can explain to you Divine Love
Yet all of creation cannot seem to stop talking about
it.”
― Rumi

When I was in college
we used to talk about the existence of God
ah philosophy
a good excuse to sit around
and look profound
much noise
amounting
to not much
in seminary
more of the same
much more
of
the
same
but today I took a walk with Mara
and everything was a mystery
when seen through through the eyes
of a 15 month old
oh, oh, a stick
a piece of clover
a leaf
O wow!!!!
a rock
everything was picked up
everything was marveled over
even the discarded candy rapper
if we want to see God
if we want to grab hold of the mystery
all we have to do
is look at the world
through the eyes of a child!
When we do
There is wonder
There is The Sacred
Everywhere
