I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

God's Child
“The Water said to the dirty one, “Come here.”
The dirty one said, “I am too ashamed.”
The water replied, “How will your shame be washed away
without me?”
― Rumi

Ah Lord
we walk through life
carrying with us what we believe
to be our shame
we go through each day
thinking we are not enough
we look at the rules
that we have made all too important
rules for living
for loving
rules we think are the key
to knowing you
we picture ourselves smudged
wrinkled
beings
unsavory
unlovable
we look in the mirror
and we see
an object of horror
but you Lord
have other eyes
you look at us and say
simply
how beautiful you are
my
child
