I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

Mother God
“You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or
exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities
and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage,
faith and hope.”
― Thomas Merton

She rocks along the sidewalk
roaring along
smile intact
you would think
this 1.5 year old phenomenon
would remember
the crash just a block back
a tragedy of monumental
proportions
complete with
tears
but no
the past is forgotten
no sense of future danger linger
she just
moves on
impelled by curiosity
embracing the moment
and knowing
that within reach
is a hand
ready to reach down and take hers
On this day
help us to
“to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by
the present moment,
and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.”
O Mother God!
