Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

May I Be Aware

Be always mindful of what you are doing and thinking
So that you may put the imprint of your immortality on every passing incident
Of your daily life.   Abd’l Khaliq Ghijdewani

Oh lord this day
May I be aware!
My I honor each experience I have this day
The sights my eyes behold
The things I smell
And feel
May I honor each person I meet

May I observe not only the world around me
But also Lord
The world within me

May I be aware
So that each moment I am noticing
My thoughts
My feeling
My reactions
My behaviors

And truly seeing
Truly choosing
To make decisions that heal
Choices that help

May I be aware
So that I do not mindlessly walk through the day
Reacting
Responding
According to old patterns of fear
Or anger

This day O Lord
May I chew, mindfully
May I listen, mindfully
May I look at the beauty of the day, mindfully

May I nurture
The eye of my heart!
And leave upon this day
The imprint of my immortality
The imprint…. Of You!
