Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The beginning of love

“The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves,
the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image.”

― Thomas Merton, The Way of Chuang Tzu

those eyes
those eyes
O man of Galilee

that looked down dusty paths
at dusty village
and saw dusty people

wonderful
beautiful people
who in their imperfections
were yet
perfect in your sight

who were who they needed to be
and where they needed to be
in that moment when you gazed on them

and let them be perfectly themselves
and set them free

those eyes
those eyes
look through many eyes
even my eyes

and when they do
there are only  people made in
your
image

wrinkled people
soiled people
wounded people

wonderful people
beautiful people

there to be
loved
