Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The world Narrowed Down

No belief is neutral.
Every one has the power to dictate
Each decision your make.

misty morning
heavy sky dripping from the branches
the world narrowed down
to trees disappearing in the gray

there is no evidence
of mountains soaring
skies blue
no trace of the sun

only this
grayness

then clouds part
and the world is restored
in all its vast beauty

some days
O Sacred one
my world is narrow
squeezed and compressed
by thinking that cannot contain
the grandeur of Sacred love

I can only see vaguely
into the mist
and so I judge
and despair

until the greyness
is dispelled
by one wild beam of sunlight

grace
