Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Cry of the heart

The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.”
                                                          Søren Kierkegaard

what is prayer
if not a cry from the heart
to One who is there?

it reflects the desire that ‘someone’ listen
and care
and even act

it can be short (Help!)
or long

but in the end it is nothing more
or less
than an exchange of love

and that changes
