I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

Practice Resurrection
So, friends, every day do something that won't
compute...Give your approval to all you cannot understand...Ask the questions
that have no answers. Put your faith in two inches of humus that will build
under the trees every thousand years...Laugh. Be joyful though you have
considered all the facts....Practice resurrection.”
Wendell
Berry, The Country of Marriage

what did I do today?
pulled some weeds
worked at transplanting some seedling
watered some flowers
looked at very old pictures
in very old albums
of very old people
when they were not so very old
fixed a fence
in a world that seems all too fond of anger,
hate and death
where bad people have power
and good people get crushed
I chose live
as though life and love win
I chose
to practice resurrection
