Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

In a moment

sunrise
fiery sky
molten clouds roiling
orange
like lava freed from its earth grave

in a moment I will go and drink in the beauty

the fire is gone
pale pink shimmers against deepening blue
a sky still beautiful
paling

in a moment I will go out
sit on the porch
sip my coffee
and marvel

clouds gather in an indifferent sky
the sun hides
hinting only at its presence

the moment is gone
so quickly

sometimes we have to remember
to catch the joy as it flies (Blake)

each moment is precious
and too quickly
gone
