Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Soul within Soul within Soul

If anyone asks you to say who you are, say without hesitation,
soul within soul within soul
                                                Rumi, The Soul of Rumi,Trans. Barks, pp. 88, 89

I’ve got soul
You’ve got soul
Our souls participate in the Sacred

More soul

the Sacred is everywhere
our souls are in our body
but our souls reach out

to touch creation
and yes,
the Soul

that is Creator

and thus we are linked
to the divine within
to the divine without

and thus we are transfigured
and those we meet
are transfigured

no longer white, or black
Christian or Muslim
old or young
male or female

we are all precious souls
and we are part of
we belong
to each
