I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

The Eternal is at Home
The eternal is at home – within you.
The eternal is not elsewhere; it is not distant.
There is nothing as near as the eternal….
Behind the façade of our normal lives eternal destiny is
shaping our days and our ways.
John
O’Donohue, Anam Cara, p.90
________________________________
we seek eternity
we strive to find paradise
we want to be shaped by Sacred power
so we study
and pray
we meditate
we travel to exquisite places
we climb into the heavens
we go to the ends of earth
seekers
yet all our seeking leaves us
homesick
and wanting still
until tired and without hope
we trudge home
only to find
that what we sought
we carried within
all along
