Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Expectations

“My dream was one day ordering a drink and finding out it tasted wonderful.”
                                            Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar

We have so many expectations
All too often our expectations
Have little to do with reality

We expect too little
And limit our joy

We expect too much
And prime ourselves for disappointment.

Ah those beautiful days
When we expect nothing
And are surprised
By
joy
