Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Love Should Save Us

“If nothing saves us from death, at least love should save us from life”
― Pablo Neruda
_________________________________________________________

it all winds down
a year
a month
a day
an hour

it all winds down
like a tired clock

life too

once we were young an spry
and then we are not
the smooth face soon disappears
behind the wrinkles and cracks
and jowls
of age

our bodies slowly bend toward the earth
it all winds down
there is no choice
nothing saves us from death
not even life

but life
that is a different matter
we have so many choices

and life can be many things
good, bad
or indifferent

full of joy and energy
or something we tolerate

life can be lost in the living,
you know what I mean?

but life can be redeemed, my friends
life can be redeemed

when we are filled with love (divine)
warmed and powered by love

when we feel it
receive it, offer it
live it

life can be, resurrected,
and we can move from life to life

and all can become
fresh
and
new
